Impossible, a broadcast agency / production company in Denver, CO and Burbank, CA, is seeking a Business Development expert to focus on the broadcast and cable industry.
The primary responsibility of this position is developing the beginning stages of sales to networks to exploit Impossible’s agency expertise in rebrands, upfronts and ad sales / integrations. Day-to-day activities will be largely focused on prospecting, qualifying, writing proposals, delivering presentations and meeting monthly sales quotas.
The secondary responsibility of this position will be oversight and assistance to the Marketing Coordinator to expand Impossible’s industry presence via website promotions, email campaigns, industry functions, event planning and the like.
Additional responsibilities will include the ongoing fostering and growth of accounts in cooperation with the Executive Producer.
This position will regularly report on its performance to the EP and Operations. Compensation will be based upon a combination of salary and sales performance.
An ambitious, engaging, and outgoing personality combined with the ability to work independently are key to this position’s success. Excellent writing, social, and presentation skills are a must.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience at a variety of television networks and possess an extensive rolodex of TV network relationships.
This position will be based in either Denver or Los Angeles. Other locations will be considered based upon qualifications and experience. Frequent travel is expected.
